Hamburg, Germany indie pop/dream pop/alt band Roller Derby have unveiled the video for their newest single “Silver Jet“.

Roller Derby formed in 2020, their sound is defined by the love for chorus guitars, synth pads and catchy vocal melodies. Atop their songs, Philine Meyer’s vocals float above warm synth sounds that spread throughout the room shining in dreaminess and wistfulness. Dreaming and dancing both find their place in Roller Derby’s sound cosmos. Their musical inspirations range from the 60s to the 80s, to current artists like Angel Olsen, Always d Beach House. Their music is about longing for love and enduring loss, yet the music never loses its lightness.
Of the song, they said: “SILVER JET is about breaking free from old habits and finding strength in togetherness during tough times.”
