Los Angeles dreampop/new wave Ruby Haunt have released their new single “Lean-to”.
The track is the first single from their upcoming EP ‘Heaven Sent‘, out January 25th and which will feature B-Sides from last year’s album ‘Between Heavens‘. Get it here.
Since releasing their debut album Hurt in 2015, Ruby Haunt, consisting of Wyatt Ininns and Viktor Pakpour, have been steadily churning out sublime melancholic dream-pop and autumnal slowcore music.
While they’ve made some tweaks to their introspective sound over the years, the duo’s music and steadfast DIY approach has attracted a devoted audience through their hypnotic blend of hushed vocals, expressive guitars, slow-burning arrangements, and an intimate yet widescreen touch.

Ruby Haunt “Lean-to” Lyrics:
Lean on your shoulder
We’re not getting older
We’re not gonna run
Real life gets slower
When you’re heading over
When you call me up
And it’s just my luck
And I’ve had enough
Still nights grow colder
Run a little longer
Running out of luck
Feel like a soldier
Whose war is over
Whose had enough
And it’s just my luck
And I’ve had enough
