London based indie rock/baggy/alt band The Utopiates have unveiled their new single “Love Pill“.
The song is out today (November 16) via V2 Records and follows on from their debut album ‘The Sun Also Rises‘, released back in May . Get it here.
Singer Dan, says of the song: “I think I did a good enough job of trying to sum up exactly how my girl makes me feel. We’ve had some pretty hedonistic times together and it’s basically about that and the love between us in those moments!. I’m so happy with the production and what all the lad’s brought to it too. We really think this track showcases another side to us without losing that Utopiates’ party vibe we like to lean towards.”

The Utopiates were formed under the dark clouds of the pandemic and only launched in January 2021. The band signed to V2 last year, a sold-out summer tour followed, and they finished the year completing work on their debut album “The Sun Also Rises” at The Nave in Leeds. The 12 track release pushes the boundaries of their unique brand of groove-laden powerhouse indie.
