Aussie new wave/proto-house/synth artist Web Rumors (aka Em Burrows) has dropped her new single “Cold Witches’ Cave“.
The track serves as the second taste of her upcoming new album ‘Travelling Circuits‘ due to be released on September 1st. Pre-order your copy here.
Commenting on the album, Burrows said:
“Travelling Circuits draws on folk song material and reharmonises it, abstracts it, and basically pushes it in different directions. I love traditional melodies, sounds and storytelling but my own creative practice in electronic music is very different. I wanted to see how I could combine the two.“
Cold Witches’ Cave is an original electro-folk track based on a story from the New Forest region. “Minimal/cold wave meets trad folk type beat.”
