Aussie post punk/synth wave band screensaver have released their new single “Permanence” and its accompanying video. They’ve also announced they will be touring Europe and UK this August.

UPDATE 07/15/2024: “Permanence” is our new Single of the Week!
The Melbourne synth-punks blend the dark and moody elements of post-punk and new wave with synth sounds both caustic and cosmic to create a sound that is tense, direct, and often undeniably danceable. ‘Permanence’ is a terse thrill of a song, drawing on pent-up frustration and chronic intensity.
Speaking about it, they say: “‘Permanence’ is a sonic blast of nasty guitars, pummelling drums, rumbling synth and spitfire vocals. The chronic intensity of the verses give way to a commanding chorus injected with underlying glam pop sensibilities. Lyrically the song speaks to repetition, unattainable goals and constant road-blocks. The pent-up frustration present in the lyrics is matched perfectly by the intensity of the music itself.“
